Shop Archive Grid – Sidebar, featured, search [Standard]
- Product Types: Suitable for a few simple products, downloadable or digital products, and others.
- Layout: Multi-column grid format - most common eCommerce shop layout
- Sidebar: Ajax product search, featured products, product categories and recent reviews
- Example Stores: fashion, accessories, jewelry, skin care, makeup, electronics, outdoors, etc.
Shop Archive Grid – Sidebar, SF, Sort [Filterable]
- Products: Suitable for products with lots of variety, options or add-ons or for products with many categories.
- Layout: Multi-column grid format - most common eCommerce shop layout
- Sidebar: Search Filter set up to search and/or filter by product category or color attribute
- Example Stores: clothing, shoes, hair, car parts, electronics, tools, specialty parts, etc.
Shop Archive List – Sidebar, SF, search [Filterable]
- Products: Suitable for products with lots of variety, options or add-ons or for products with many categories.
- Layout: List format with relatively small images and one product per row
- Sidebar: Ajax product search and Search Filter set up to filter by category or color attribute
- Example Stores: car parts, electronics, tools, specialty parts, etc.
Shop Archive Grid – Sidebar, categories, search [Hierarchal]
- Products: Suitable for any kind of products that may be simple or variable, but are grouped into many subcategories and categories.
- Layout: Multi-column grid format - most common eCommerce shop layout
- Sidebar: Ajax product search and product categories module
- Example Stores: clothing, supplies, grocery, electronics, greeting cards, décor, furniture, books, music, etc.
Shop Archive Grid – No Sidebar [Basic]
- Products: Suitable for art/one-of-a-kind products, membership or subscription products, bookable products or event tickets.
- Layout: Multi-column grid format - most common eCommerce shop layout
- Sidebar: None
- Example Stores: rentals, travel, tours, services, salon, spa, sports, outdoor, art, paintings, photography, prints, accessories, hand-made items, pottery, jewelry, etc.
Product Singular – Standard
- Product Types: Suitable for a few simple products, downloadable or digital products, and others.
- Layout: Default layout template for standard products when viewed individually.
- Sidebar: Ajax product search, featured products, product categories and recent reviews
- Example Stores: fashion, accessories, jewelry, skin care, makeup, electronics, outdoors, etc.
Product Singular – Filterable
- Products: Suitable for products with lots of variety, options or add-ons or for products with many categories.
- Layout: Default product layout with filterable sidebar to the left - compliments both the filterable grid and list archive layouts.
- Sidebar: Search Filter set up to search and/or filter by product category or color attribute
- Example Stores: clothing, shoes, hair, car parts, electronics, tools, specialty parts, etc.
Product Singular – Hierarchal
- Products: Suitable for any kind of products that may be simple or variable, but are grouped into many subcategories and categories.
- Layout: Default product layout with categories sidebar to the left - compliments hierarchal archive layout
- Sidebar: Ajax product search and product categories module
- Example Stores: clothing, supplies, grocery, electronics, greeting cards, décor, furniture, books, music, etc.
Product Singular – Basic
- Products: Suitable for art/one-of-a-kind products, membership or subscription products.
- Layout: Default product layout with no sidebar - compliments basic archive layout
- Sidebar: None
- Example Stores: outdoor, art, paintings, photography, prints, accessories, hand-made items, pottery, jewelry, etc.
Product Singular – Technical
- Products: Suitable for membership or subscription products, bookable products or event tickets.
- Layout: Default product layout with no sidebar - compliments basic archive layout
- Sidebar: None
- Example Stores: rentals, travel, tours, services, salon, spa, sports, outdoor, events, shows, travel, seminars, classes, concerts, adventure, etc.
Featured Products
Different layout options to display certain product types (featured products, best-selling products, latest products, etc.) as call-outs on a static page with a link to the full archive for more.
- Layout: Auto Generated. Featured products are chosen in the store's backend and will appear in this module automatically. Latest products are the most recently added, and best selling products are those which have more purchases.
- Use Case: Good for any store with featured items or with new products being constantly added.
Product Card Slider
Use this option for displaying products of a certain category or tag on a page with links to each. This layout is best for one-of-a-kind products where it isn't imperative to display a price on the card. The layout allows for customizing the style of the module items, but does not include the wish list link or price option.
- Layout: Manual. You must hand-select which products are to appear here or select a category or tag where all its products should appear here.
- Use Case: Best for stores where certain products need to be placed in a slider on a static page.
Product Categories - Default
Layout options to display product categories as call-outs on a static page (or taxonomy archive depending on the module) with different ways of styling them (grid or carousel).
- Layout: Auto Generated. You can choose to display all categories, or parent categories and whether or not to hide empty ones. You cannot hand-select which categories are to appear here.
- Use Case: Best for stores with a lot of categories that may be added to or changed regularly.
Product Categories - Hovers
Layout options to display product categories as call-outs on a static page with a slight hover effect linking to the category when clicked.
- Layout: Manual. All categories will not automatically appear here. You must hand-select which categories should go here. Any time a new category is added, it must be manually added to this layout.
- Use Case: Best for stores with very few (3, 4, 6, etc.) main or top level categories. Good for stores where new categories don't constantly get added.
Product Categories - Icons
Layout options to display product categories as call-outs on a static page with a relevant icon linking to the category when clicked.
- Layout: Manual. All categories will not automatically appear here. You must hand-select which categories should go here. Any time a new category is added, it must be manually added to this layout.
- Use Case: Best for stores with very few (maximum 8) main or top level categories. Good for stores where new categories don't constantly get added.
Product Categories - Squares
Layout options to display product categories as call-outs on a static page with a CTA linking to the category when clicked.
- Layout: Manual. All categories will not automatically appear here. You must hand-select which categories should go here. Any time a new category is added, it must be manually added to this layout.
- Use Case: Best for stores with an even number of very few (3, 4, 6, etc.) main or top level categories. Good for stores where new categories don't constantly get added.
